About Mataye

Mataye is a small drinks brand based in London. We make two things: Mushroom Coffee, an instant arabica and robusta coffee with five mushrooms, and Super Yerba Mate, a cold-mix yerba mate sachet. The company behind the brand is Mataye Wellness Biotech Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom.

What we make

• Mushroom Coffee: 700 mg each of lion's mane, reishi, cordyceps, chaga and shiitake from the fruiting body in every 6 g serving, sweetened with erythritol. Vegan, gluten-free, halal certified and non-GMO. 30 servings a bag.
• Super Yerba Mate: yerba mate with ashwagandha, lion's mane, vitamin D3 and magnesium, raspberry lemonade flavour, 2 g of sugar, in 30 single-serve sachets you stir into cold water.

Both contain caffeine. They are food products, not medicines.

Where we sell

We deliver across the UK with free standard delivery and 30-day returns on unopened products. Mushroom Coffee is also available in Morocco, with free delivery and cash on delivery, on our Moroccan site in French.

How we write about health

You will not find promises of better memory, immunity or weight loss on this site. No health claims are authorised for these mushrooms or for yerba mate in the UK, and most of the research is still early. Our guides say what the studies and health bodies actually found, link the sources, and are updated when the evidence changes. We sell the products we write about, and we say so on every guide.
